MODELS

POWER SELECT continuously variable voltage auto - transformers are available in three different models.

  • Flush Type: For back of Panel mounting (for air - cooled ratings only).
  • Enclosed: For table / floor mounting (for air - cooled ratings only).
  • Oil Cooled : POWER SELECT of all ratings are available in oil cooled constructions suitable for highly corrosive or hazardous atmosphere,arduous duties involving high surge currents or short time overload capability requirement.




SERVO VOLTAGE STABILIZER

 
Servo controlled automatic voltage stabilizers are designed normally to meet the requirements of a majority of voltage control problems. Their applications are limited only in cases where an instaneous correction is a must. The stabilizing action needs a few seconds to cover the entire range.

Unbalanced type voltage stabilizer

It consists 3 servo motors mounted on three Variacs & transformers independently connected in star . It stabilized the voltage in each phase independently so gives unique constant voltage in each phase.

It consists a single phase servo motor ( one number ) mounted on three mechanically coupled variacs so it stabilized the voltage by one phase only ( as only one servo motor is there)

D.C MOTOR & D.C PANEL/DRIVE

A DC Shunt motor is one of the three classes of Direct Current motors. These motors are classified by the way the armature and field windings are wound. A shunt wound motor will run at a constant speed regardless of the load. Such a motor is not usually recomended where starting conditionsa are severe. Speed may be controlled either by by inserting resistance in series with the armature or by inserting resistance in the field circuit.

 

D.C PANEL/DRIVE

DC drives consist of an SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) bridge, which converts incoming three or single-phase AC volts to DC volts. During this conversion process DC drives then can regulate speed, torque, voltage and current conditions of the DC motor. This is ideal for industrial processes such as tube mills, extruders, mixers, paper machines and various other controlled applications.POWER SELECT can provide several DC Drives from different reputable manufactures.
